Doug Brady<\/a>\u00a0or Dougie, as he is affectionately known, is passionate about passing on all that he knows to share his immense\u00a0knowledge with\u00a0artistic young people.<\/p>\n

Imagine having exclusive first hand access to 35 years of experience in the music industry, plus expertise in sound and production and personalised\u00a0mentoring with the kindest, generous, most genuine\u00a0expert around.<\/p>\n

This initiative was created to mentor young people on the realities of actively participating or working in the music industry while nurturing their unique creativity. Doug\u00a0is all about boosting esteem, nurturing innate talent and strengthening abilities. Creating opportunities to express inspiration, and how to put it all together into something useable and marketable that they can use right away.<\/p>\n

“There seemed to be a gap, with no\u00a0place where kids and young\u00a0talent can learn the ropes, to gain insight into how a working studio really operates\u00a0or what it is like supporting\u00a0creative people and artists. \u00a0I am approached constantly by\u00a0high school students to undertake work experience in the studio, now they can apply. \u00a0I wanted to provide young people\u00a0this\u00a0opportunity so devised two programs. They are\u00a0aimed\u00a0at\u00a0high school students and\u00a0all young artists or creatives interested in the music industry in any capacity.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Both\u00a0programs are exclusive, the individual applicant, together with Doug\u00a0defines what the main focus of mentorship will encompass.\u00a0 Whether your aspirations are in songwriting, singing, producing, recording, engineering, dj, mixing, recording artist,\u00a0or to decide if the\u00a0music industry is for you, your time in the studio with Doug will ensure you are\u00a0guided\u00a0in the best direction. Prepared for the pitfalls, fully\u00a0inspired for your\u00a0future.<\/p>\n

Programs run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday over a one or two week period.<\/p>\n

Mentoring programs are strictly limited to between 1-6 people at any time.<\/p>\n

One<\/strong>
\nThis 3 day program is aimed at high school kids seeking\u00a0experience in a studio. \u00a0It is also suitable for any young person seeking the same. \u00a0Dates are\u00a0scheduled\u00a0during\u00a0school holiday periods.

Two<\/strong>
\nThis 6 day program is aimed at any young person\u00a0seeking experience in a studio. \u00a0University or independent music school students can attend during their semester breaks for real applicable experience.
